Valeri and Harou wanted a perfect spring garden wedding in the middle of the afternoon and that is exactly what they got at Garden’s House in Melbourne’s Botanic Gardens. The flowers were soft, pastel, delicate and smelt like you could almost taste them. Valeri and Harou were so sweet, as if they had walked straight out of the pages of a picture book. I remember a specific moment during the set up of this wedding, where we were waiting in the House behind Valeri as she was about to walk down the aisle with her parents. From my angle, I could see both the nerves on her and Harou’s faces. But as soon as they saw each other, I could see the anxiety melt and the happiness and excitement take over. I’ll never want to give up my backstage florist pass for moments like this.
